Dentons announced Monday that it has opened a 21-lawyer Milan office, tapping DLA Piper’s longtime Italy head to lead its new international outpost.

Real estate partner Federico Sutti, who more recently was DLA Piper’s managing director for Europe and Africa, officially started Monday under the Dentons aegis. Unlike other recent Dentons deals, the current deal is not a whole-firm combination.
