A pair of boutique firms celebrated the holiday season by making two notable hires from the ranks of The Am Law 100.

The demise of Bingham McCutchen a little more than a year ago was preceded by the departure of boatloads of partners, including the January 2014 defection of IP co-chair Scott Bluni to become a name partner and head of the new Boston office for IP boutique Kacvinsky Daisak Bluni.
