Holland & Knight and Sidley Austin both poached practice leaders from Am Law 100 rivals on opposite coasts last week.
Sidley, which opened a second Los Angeles office in 2015 after hiring the head of Simpson Thacher & Bartlett’s base in the city, continued its hiring spree by bringing on Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy’s gaming and hospitality practice co-head P. PETER BENUDIZ to serve as co-head of its real estate practice in the City of Angels.
