Three private equity partners who joined Locke Lord a year ago when it merged with Edwards Wildman Palmer left the firm Tuesday for another Boston-based firm in Choate, Hall & Stewart.

The trio includes Locke Lord’s private equity and venture capital group co-chair Christopher Nelson; the firm’s technology, media and telecommunications group co-chair Sarah Camougis; and Stephen Meredith, one of the founders of Edwards Wildman legacy firm Edwards & Angell’s Boston office.
