Despite market headwinds facing many of the country’s highest-grossing firms, Paul Hastings reported that 2015 was its most profitable year to date.

The firm saw gross revenue rise 5.6 percent, to $1.06 billion, after passing the billion-dollar mark for the first time last year. Profits per partner kept pace, rising 6.1 percent, to $2.5 million, while revenue per lawyer inched up 1.1 percent, to $1.16 million, at the 912-lawyer firm.
