Ford & Harrison, a national labor and employment firm that bolted on a boutique in January, remained acquisitive by expanding Tuesday into Connecticut after absorbing five-lawyer Rose Kallor.

All of Rose Kallor—including name partners Michael Rose and Robin Kallor, partner Johanna Zelman, counsel Melinda Powell and associate Cindy Cieslak—will join Ford & Harrison to form the firm’s new outpost in Hartford. Rose, who served as managing partner of Rose Kallor, co-founded the small civil litigation firm in March 2007 after he and Kallor left Hartford-based Howd & Ludorf.
