Seyfarth Shaw has joined the list of firms that can boast profits per equity partner above $1 million. Last year, its PPP reached $1.02 million, an increase of 8.5 percent, while the number of equity partners at the firm dropped 1.5 percent, to 192.

Gross revenue rose 6.3 percent, to $590 million, and revenue per lawyer increased 2.8 percent, to $740,000. Average compensation for all partners was up 4.8 percent, to $660,000. The firm’s total lawyer head count rose 3.4 percent, to 798, while the number of nonequity partners increased 6.3 percent, to 185.
