Los Angeles-based Munger, Tolles & Olson took in $261 million in gross revenue for 2015, down 1.9 percent from the $266 million it brought in a year earlier. The slight dip derailed a series of strong financial performances by the firm in recent years.

Profits per partner dropped 2.4 percent in 2015, to $1.865 million, as net income fell 1.5 percent, to $160 million. Revenue per lawyer at Munger Tolles fell another 7.9 percent last year, to $1.29 million, down from $1.4 million in 2014.
