Large companies and financial institutions are aware that their law firms can provide a back door for cybercriminals trying to access sensitive data, and every major law firm has likely bolstered its defenses as a result. But big firms working with local litigation counsel may risk making themselves just as vulnerable as their less protected co-counsel.
