McGuireWoods, having recently raided Reed Smith for several key hires, continued its acquisition frenzy by nabbing three more partners from Hunton & Williams. With the new additions, McGuireWoods has added 13 new partners in 13 days.
The most recent McGuireWoods recruits from fellow Richmond, Virginia-based Am Law 100 firm Hunton & Williams include public finance partner MARY NASH RUSHER, private wealth partner JEAN GORDON CARTER and environmental partner CHARLES CASE. All are based in Raleigh, North Carolina, where Rusher served as managing partner of Hunton & Williams’ office in the city. Carter spoke with local publication Walter Magazine in 2014 about her work helping donors and nonprofits seek out charitable strategies.
