Continuing a trickle of recent departures from Hunton & Williams, a group of five transactional and tax partners specializing in real estate investment trusts has decamped for Vinson & Elkins.
Vinson & Elkins announced the moves in a statement on Monday, saying that the lawyers would join the firm in Richmond, Washington, D.C., and New York. Daniel LeBey, S. Gregory Cope, Christopher Green and David Freed will join Vinson & Elkins as partners in its capital markets and mergers and acquisitions practice, while Christopher Mangin Jr. will join as a tax partner.
