Ropes & Gray and Sidley Austin both announced new partner hires from Weil, Gotshal & Manges this week, with each specializing in the private investment space.
DAVID BLITTNER, a veteran private equity partner at Weil who spent nearly 25 years in the firm’s New York headquarters, left the firm for Ropes & Gray. Blittner’s lateral addition is Ropes & Gray’s eighth major partner pickup in the Big Apple over the past 15 months, according to the firm.
