Aiming to strengthen its private equity presence, Cooley on Monday announced the addition of seasoned transactional lawyers in New York, Silicon Valley and London, including former Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft private equity chief Ronald Hopkinson.
In addition to the New York-based Hopkinson, Eric Schwartzman is joining Cooley in Palo Alto, California from Weil, Gotshal & Manges, where he practiced for more than four years. In London, Stephen Rosen is joining from U.K.-based Olswang after serving as head of that firm’s private equity and venture capital group.
