Greenspoon Marder broke the $100 million mark in gross revenue for the first time in 2015, with a 7.2 percent increase, to $104.5 million, while profits per partner rose 1.9 percent, to $540,000. But revenue per lawyer for the Fort Lauderdale-based firm dipped 1.5 percent, to $655,000.

Last year Greenspoon Marder added offices in Miami, Miami Beach and Las Vegas, started a new alcohol beverage practice group in Miami and Miami Beach and launched a governmental law practice in Orlando. It also expanded its Boca Raton office. Co-managing partner Gerry Greenspoon says that revenue per lawyer slipped because of the lag between making new hires and collecting on their work. “There is always a lag until their revenue comes up to full speed,” he says.
