BuckleySandler, a fast-growing Washington, D.C.-based firm that has soared up the Am Law 200 rankings in recent years, has hired former Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe partner Preston Burton, whose past clients include Monica Lewinsky and two ex-federal agents accused of spying for Russia.

Burton joined BuckleySandler this week from Poe & Burton, a boutique he co-founded in 2011 after leaving Orrick in Washington, D.C. Burton’s fellow former name partner, Gregory Poe, will continue running his own practice.
