Roughly seven months after emerging from bankruptcy, Hercules Offshore Inc. once again filed for Chapter 11 protection Sunday in Delaware.
But this time around, the Houston-based offshore oilrig operator tapped Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld as lead debtor’s counsel, having previously relied on Baker Botts in its earlier bankruptcy, which wrapped up in November.
