Cooley will announce Monday that the firm has brought back former partner and public securities practice head MICHAEL JACOBSON as counsel for its business department in Palo Alto, California.
Jacobson most recently served as senior vice president, general counsel and secretary at San Jose, California-based e-commerce giant eBay Inc. Jacobson, who joined eBay in August 1998 and spent the next 17 years at the company, left in January 2015 amid an exodus of several senior eBay executives.
