Foley & Lardner was retained by the troubled city of Flint, Michigan, earlier this year to look into allegations made by former Interim City Attorney Anthony Chubb.

The Flint Journal reported Monday on documents obtained under a Freedom of Information Act request indicating that Foley & Lardner was hired on March 29 by current City Attorney Stacy Erwin Oakes for a fee of up to $5,000.
