Start Small Think Big, a South Bronx nonprofit organization that helps connect business owners to pro bono legal advice, is opening doors for corporate lawyers at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett, Debevoise & Plimpton, and about 40 other firms to find pro bono opportunities within their field of expertise.

“Traditionally, pro bono work has been for litigators and in the civil space,” says Jennifer DaSilva, founder and executive director of Start Small. “There have been all kinds of corporate attorneys whose expertise is in the transactional space looking to get involved, and we provide that opportunity.”
