A lawsuit filed last month against the legal recruiting firm Lateral Link was dismissed from state court in Los Angeles this week, court documents show.

DeAnne Ozaki, a former recruiter with Lateral Link, had accused the firm of misclassifying its California workers as independent contractors. As a result, Ozaki claimed, workers were underpaid and denied certain entitlements.
