Milwaukee-based Am Law 200 firm Quarles & Brady is poised to unveil a new managing partner—only the second in its history—on Dec. 1. Daniel Radler, an engineer-turned-IP lawyer, will succeed corporate specialist Fredrick Lautz, who has held the firm’s top leadership role for nine years.
Radler joined Quarles & Brady back in 1997, and has since served as chair of the firm’s IP practice and a member of its executive committee. Lautz first filled Quarles & Brady’s managing partner role in 2007, after the death of firm chair Patrick Ryan.
