Houston capital markets and M&A lawyer Jeff Malonson was left in limbo early this year, when a planned move from Vinson & Elkins to Simpson Thacher & Bartlett fizzled after another partner backed out.
Nearly six months later, Malonson has landed at King & Spalding, after media coverage of his predicament paved the way for the hire.
