U.S. v. Embraer

Brazilian aircraft manufacturer Embraer S.A. has agreed to pay more than $205 million under an agreement with U.S. regulators related to nearly $6 million in bribes that the company paid to government officials to win government contracts in the Dominican Republic, Saudi Arabia and Mozambique. Embraer made $83.8 million in profit as a result of the bribes, according to a U.S. Department of Justice deferred prosecution agreement signed in October.
