It’s shaping up to be a busy year for Big Law mergers.

Norton Rose Fulbright confirmed Tuesday that it will merge with Chadbourne & Parke, creating a combined law firm with revenues of just under $2 billion. It will operate as Norton Rose Fulbright, and Chadbourne, which operated as an independent firm for 115 years but had struggled recently with defections, will leave its name behind.
