The game has rewarded him in many ways, so Crosby gives by volunteering his services to three golf-related organizations. For one, he serves on a subcommittee of the United States Golf Association that is responsible for collecting, organizing and preserving historical materials related to golf course architecture. "A great deal of historical material is disappearing. There is no repository for it," says Crosby, who plays golf about once a week.
