May Day! Salaries for All To See in NYC Starting in MayOn Dec. 15, 2021, the New York City Council passed a bill making it an unlawful discriminatory practice for an employer with four or more employees to not include the minimum and maximum salary offered for any job position located within New York City. This pay transparency law, aimed at helping to eliminate wage disparities based on gender, race and other factors, will take effect on May 15, 2022.
