Tax TipsT he Job Creation and Worker Assistance Act of 2002 (H.R. 3090), a $38.7 billion stimulus package that extends unemployment benefits, made a number of significant tax changes affecting income tax returns for 2001 and future years. For those who already filed their 2001 returns, amended returns should be filed to take advantage of new write-offs for which they may be eligible. The changes are weighted in favor of businesses but there are several key benefits for individuals as well.
