Elinor Hoffmann

Elinor R. Hoffmann is Deputy Chief of the New York Attorney General’s Antitrust Bureau and Special Counsel to the Economic Justice Division. She focuses on antitrust issues under state and federal laws in diverse markets, including health care, pharmaceuticals and financial services. She is also an Adjunct Professor of Law at Brooklyn Law School where she teaches courses in Antitrust and Antitrust Issues in Health Care, and serves on the Advisory Board of the Health Law Fellowship program. Prior to joining the Office of the Attorney General, she was a partner in the firm of Coudert Brothers LLP for 16 years.

Keira Campbell

Keira M. Campbell is Vice President and Chief Competition Counsel for American Express where she has global responsibility for antitrust matters across the company, excluding Europe. She advises on the full spectrum of antitrust issues, including counseling, compliance, M&A, and litigation. In addition to leading the global antitrust team, Keira is the U.S. Payments Strategy & Innovation expert where she has responsibility for tracking external developments in the competitive landscape which may have strategic, legal or policy implications for American Express.

Prior to joining American Express, Keira worked in private practice for over a decade in New York and in Australia in two leading antitrust & competition law practices focused on M&A, counselling and government investigations.

Keira has an LLM from Columbia Law School, a post-graduate diploma in Competition Law from the University of Melbourne, a LLB from the University of Sydney and a Bachelor of Business. Keira is a member of the executive committee of the New York State Bar Association’s Antitrust Law Section, the executive committee of the New York City Bar’s Antitrust & Trade Regulation Committee, the ABA Antitrust In-House Taskforce, other among roles.

Nicholas Passaro

Nicholas Passaro is the Lead Antitrust Counsel for North America and sits within the Office of General Counsel. In this role, he manages the North American antitrust and competition law compliance program, advises company leadership on antitrust and competition law matters, represents Ford on antitrust and competition law matters before the Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice, Federal Trade Commission, and other government agencies, and is responsible for obtaining antitrust and competition law merger clearances. Prior to this role, he was an antitrust and competition attorney at an international law firm where his practice focused antitrust investigations, litigation, and merger clearance.

Bradley Justus's practice focuses on antitrust law, including antitrust litigation, mergers, government investigations, and counseling. He has represented clients in several of the most high-profile and complex antitrust litigations and deal reviews in recent memory. In addition to appearing in courts throughout the country, before the Department of Justice, and before the Federal Trade Commission, Bradley has represented major clients facing merger reviews by European, Brazilian, Chinese, Korean, Canadian, Mexican, and Japanese competition regulators. In just the past year, Bradley has been trusted to help lead the defense of Google and Tyson Foods in high-profile complex antitrust litigations. Bradley also maintains a significant practice of securing antitrust clearance for major mergers. He was one of the key leaders responsible for obtaining clearance for Dow Chemical’s merger with DuPont, one of the largest and most complex merger reviews ever, requiring approval in more than 20 jurisdictions.

Bob Zapata is General Counsel, Corporate Strategy & Development at TIAA, a diversified financial services company with over $1 trillion in assets under management. In this role, Bob has legal responsibility for M&A transactions, joint ventures, and strategic investments across TIAA, and is the legal partner to the Chief Financial Officer, the Chief Investment Officer, and the TIAA “Finance & Actuarial” organization.

Prior to joining TIAA in 2017, Bob was Executive Counsel, M&A at General Electric. Bob is a member of the NYC Bar Association’s Committee on Mergers, Acquisitions and Corporate Control Contests, and is active in various community organizations in Westport, Connecticut.
