Rachel Dooley serves as Goodwin’s Chief Innovation Officer where she leads a multi-disciplinary team and collaborates with the firm’s lawyers, clients and global operations team members to nurture Goodwin’s culture of innovation and to identify and deliver bespoke legal products and services. She focuses on continuous improvement in people, processes, business intelligence and technology - including artificial intelligence and data - at the firm. Ms. Dooley cultivates Goodwin’s mission of merging the practice of law with the business of law when serving clients and developing relationships.

Prior to joining Goodwin, Ms. Dooley served as the Global Managing Counsel and Trust Lead for McKinsey Digital, a McKinsey & Company growth platform, with a specific focus on the cutting-edge AI work with QuantumBlack. She founded and led McKinsey Legal Lab, a first-of-its-kind innovation incubator and accelerator for a global in-house legal department. She also co-founded McKinsey Digital’s Center of Risk Excellence, which focuses on agile risk management in technology. Previously, Ms. Dooley was an associate at Willkie Farr & Gallagher and Kenyon & Kenyon. She also is the founder and sole creative director for fashion accessories brand GEMMA REDUX.

Matt has 15 years of experience working with law firms and corporate legal departments, helping drive the use of technology to better serve their users and clients. Matt currently oversees the subject and industry matter experts for Litera and works closely with the Product teams on addressing everchanging customer needs and challenges.

Michael is a partner in the firm’s Litigation Department. He tries complex cases—including a nine-figure jury trial.

Before joining Tonkon Torp, Michael practiced in the Litigation Department at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP for four years. He earned his J.D. from Columbia Law School, where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar, Alexander Hamilton Fellow, and Managing Editor of the Columbia Business Law Review. As a law student, he externed for Judge Michael W. Mosman of the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon.

Michael worked as an analyst at economics consulting firm Analysis Group, Inc., before attending law school. There he performed financial and statistical analyses in support of expert witnesses, whose reports and testimony were used at trial. While earning his undergraduate degree in economics and Spanish, Michael interned at the U.S. embassy’s economics section in Madrid.

With over 20 years of experience in legal technology and intelligence, I bring my expertise in intelligence, data applications and integrations, process improvements, and the law to deliver innovative solutions for the business and practice of law. I presently serve as Director of Data Strategy for Holland & Knight's Knowledge Management and Innovation department.
