Kristin Sunderman is the Litigation Support Director at Freddie Mac where she manages all aspects of the EDRM from identification through production, for the entire company. Prior to joining Freddie Mac, Ms. Sunderman spent the last 20 years in the industry working not only for law firms and corporations but also as an eDiscovery vendor. It is in the vendor world that Ms. Sunderman spent the bulk of her career. She started off in project management but quickly worked up to managing all of Operations. It is there that she focused on creating efficiencies, implementing automation and providing a development path for new eDiscovery specialists.

Ms. Sunderman continues to focus on process improvements and development in her current role and prides herself on being heavily involved in mentorship and inclusion programs.

Catherine “Cat” Casey, Chief Growth Officer, Reveal Cat Casey is the Chief Growth Officer of Reveal, the leading cloud-based AI-powered legal technology company, where she spearheads development and strategy for its advanced legal technology solutions. She is a frequent keynote speaker and outspoken advocate of legal professionals embracing technology to deliver better legal outcomes. Casey has over a decade and a half of experience assisting clients with complex ediscovery and forensic needs that arise from litigation, expansive regulation, and complex contractual relationships.

Before joining Reveal, Casey was the Chief Innovation Officer of DISCO, and director of Global Practice Support for Gibson Dunn, based out of their New York office. She led a global team comprising experienced practitioners in the areas of electronic discovery, data privacy, and information governance. Prior to that, Casey was a leader in the Forensic Technology Practice for PwC. Prior to that Casey built out the antitrust forensic technology practice and served as the national subject matter expert on ediscovery for KPMG.

Casey has an A.L.B. from Harvard University and attended Pepperdine School of Law.

Martha K. Louks manages the Firm’s discovery technology team and consults on a wide array of discovery issues, providing high-value, efficiency-driven solutions to complex data challenges. Martha collaborates with legal teams to develop technology and workflow solutions that align with the overall discovery strategy, prepares discovery plans that reduce costs and improve efficiency, and participates in negotiations regarding ESI protocols.

Martha has extensive experience developing preservation plans capable of withstanding intense scrutiny while simultaneously addressing the flexibility necessary for clients to meet their business obligations. She advises on electronic evidence considerations, working closely with legal teams to incorporate the results of the forensic investigation into legal analysis.

Martha is highly skilled in Technology Assisted Review (predictive coding) and advises clients on the defensibility and effectiveness of varied workflow approaches, as well as strategic considerations related to the disclosure of predictive coding processes and metrics. Clients look to McDermott’s strong experience with leveraging predictive coding and other advanced technologies to get discovery done more efficiently and with more cost savings.

In particular, Martha was instrumental in the AB InBev-Grupo Modelo merger where she worked directly with the US Department of Justice’s (DOJ) Antitrust Division in developing a predictive coding protocol to limit review to only those documents most relevant and responsive to the DOJ’s requests.

Martha is a Certified Relativity Expert, having three concurrent certifications: Relativity Certified Administrator, Relativity Analytics Specialist, and Relativity Assisted Review Specialist.

Rich Robinson began his legal-technology career in 1999 in the IT department for a large law firm in Boston, Massachusetts. He has served in numerous roles in IT and Litigation Support in large and medium-sized firms in Boston, Providence, Austin and Dallas. He has worked in the eDiscovery vendor space and spent seven years as the eDiscovery and Information Manager for JCPenney prior to joining Toyota. Rich is a founding board member of the eDiscovery and ACEDS chapters in Dallas and speaks regularly at eDiscovery conferences around the country.

Richard earned his undergraduate degree from Georgetown University, Robinson began his legal technology career in 2000.
