Mr. Tahmassebi has successfully handled legal malpractice cases on a wide range of issues and recently obtained a favorable verdict in a legal malpractice case seeking over ten million in damages. He has represented attorneys, accountants and other professionals in civil and administrative hearings before the Attorney Disciplinary Commission and Department of Professional Regulation.

Mr. Tahmassebi also represents several well-known professional athletes in various matters such as litigation and contract negotiations. He is also a certified contract advisor with the NFLPA.

Erin Joyce Law, PC

As a former 18-year State Bar prosecutor, Attorney Erin Joyce is an expert in legal ethics. Erin has extensive experience in State Bar investigations and disciplinary proceedings as well as 25 years of civil litigation experience.

Erin was admitted in 1990 and spent eight years practicing at an intellectual property firm before prosecuting for the State Bar from 1997 through 2016. With over 20 years of experience in attorney discipline cases, Erin has a comprehensive understanding of how State Bar investigations and proceedings unfold. She has tried dozens of State Bar trials and several appeals.

Prior to launching Erin Joyce Law, Erin served the Los Angeles Fire Department as a Chief Special Investigator, as a prosecutor for the State Bar, and as a lawyer for private practices. In addition to fighting for her clients, Erin contributes to the Los Angeles County Bar Association’s Professional Responsibility and Ethics Committee and its Small Firm and Sole Practitioner Section. Erin is on the faculty of Abraham Lincoln University teaching advanced legal ethics and on the California Lawyers Association Solo Section Executive Committee and Health and Wellness Committee.

Erin graduated with honors from UCLA and received her J.D. from Southwestern Law School, where she was first in class.
