Description

The False Claims Act (FCA) is a powerful fraud prevention tool for the government. The heightened crackdown and stringent statutory penalties and damages signal serious risks for companies with business transactions with the government. Failure to comply with regulations can lead to high stake mishaps such as reputational harm and debarment from government programs on top of financial liabilities. As aggressive FCA enforcement is here to stay, prudent businesses engaged with the government should map an effective defense and compliance program to avoid legal liabilities and hefty fines.

Listen as Stefan Boedeker of Berkeley Research Group and Julia Clayton of Law Office of Julia A. Clayton, P.C. provide the audience with a comprehensive discussion of the recent trends and developments in FCA enforcement. Speakers will also offer best practices to respond to FCA investigation and get out of potential exposure.
