Penny M. Williams is Vice President, Associate General Counsel at Sotheby’s, the world’s largest, most trusted and dynamic marketplace for art and luxury, where she focuses on technology transactions and digital transformation.

Prior to joining Sotheby’s, Penny led the commercial legal team responsible for strategy and execution of sales and procurement transactions globally as the Associate General Counsel, Head of Commercial at Collibra Inc., a data governance technology startup. Her other previous roles include Associate General Counsel at Workday, Inc., a leading provider of enterprise cloud applications for finance and human resources, and Director & Counsel, Corporate & Sales at Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc., a developer and publisher of interactive entertainment software.

Penny started her legal career as an Associate in the Corporate Department of Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP. She received her J.D. from Boston University School of Law, and she received her B.A. in Psychology and Political Science from Indiana University.

Penny is the current President of the Board of Directors of the Association of Corporate Counsel - New York City chapter.

Saritha Komatireddy is an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of New York. She has served in the Office's National Security and Cybercrime Section, Long Island Division, and General Crimes Section. She has also served as the Acting Deputy Chief of the International Narcotics and Money Laundering Section and as a Computer Hacking and Intellectual Property Coordinator.

Previously, Komatireddy practiced law at Kellogg, Huber, Hansen, Todd, Evans & Figel P.L.L.C. in Washington, D.C., and was Counsel to the National Commission on the BP Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill and Offshore Drilling. She clerked for the Honorable Brett M. Kavanaugh, then on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit.

Komatireddy received her J.D. from Harvard Law School, where she was the Bluebook Chair for the Harvard Law Review, and she received her A.B. from Harvard College.

Michael P. Canty is a Partner in the New York office of Labaton Sucharow LLP, where he serves as General Counsel and head of the Firm’s Consumer Cybersecurity and Data Privacy Practice Group. Michael’s practice focuses on complex fraud cases on behalf of institutional investors and consumers.

Michael has successfully prosecuted a number of high-profile securities matters involving technology companies. Most notably, Michael is part of the litigation team that recently achieved a historic $650 million settlement in the In re Facebook Biometric Information Privacy Litigation matter—the largest consumer data privacy settlement ever and one of the first cases asserting consumers’ biometric privacy rights under Illinois’ Biometric Information Privacy Act (BIPA). Michael has also led cases against AMD, a multi-national semiconductor company, and Ubiquiti Networks, Inc., a global software company. In both cases, Michael played a pivotal role in securing favorable settlements for investors.
