Knowledge Management, Legal Technology and the Art of Efficiency -- NON-CLE

Saskia Mehlhorn is the Director of Knowledge Management & Library Services at Norton Rose Fulbright, US LLP.

Prior to joining Norton Rose Fulbright, Saskia worked for the University of Houston O’Quinn Law Library as the foreign and international law librarian supporting the international research areas, specifically NAFTA and international arbitration. Saskia has presented on a national and local level on topics like international arbitration, artificial intelligence, and knowledge management.

Saskia received her law degree from the University of Hamburg, Germany, and practiced law in Hannover, Germany, before accepting a position in the QHSE department of Schlumberger Ltd.. Saskia also holds a LL.M. from the University of Houston and an MLIS from the University of North Texas.

June Hsiao Liebert is the director of information services at O’Melveny & Myers LLP in Los Angeles, California, where she oversees the firm's information and records management initiatives. Her extensive background in both IT and information management comes from working in law schools, law firms and legal technology consulting.

June received a JD and MLS (Master’s in Library Science) from Indiana University and a BS in Management Information and Decision Systems from Case Western Reserve University. Prior to joining O'Melveny, she was the Firmwide Director of Library and Research Services at Sidley Austin LLP. June has also served as the CIO, library and distance education director, and professor at the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law, as well as the CIO at the University of Texas School of Law and a research librarian at the UCLA School of Law.

In 2021, she was named a Fastcase 50 top legal innovators honoree and was awarded the American Association of Law Libraries’ Presidential Certificate of Merit in 2018. June co-chairs the alumni board of the IU Luddy School of Informatics, Computing and Engineering, and is a frequent speaker on a variety of topics including technology, data, and library management. June is also a prolific writer and co-authored an article about link rot in US Supreme Court decisions that was published in the Yale Journal of Law and Technology.

Vishal Agnihorti has held several operational, consulting, and leadership roles for more than two decades in enterprise knowledge management, spanning all its aspects from business research, knowledge technology adoption, (implementation, training, and communications), knowledge process outsourcing (KPO), and social KM. As an award-winning practitioner, consultant, and senior executive, she has helped Big 4 firms, AmLaw firms, and Fortune 500 clients unlock the value of knowledge management. She is the senior director of knowledge and innovation at Alston & Bird. She was most recently the chief knowledge officer at Hinshaw & Culbertson and previously held the same role at Akerman.

Prior to that Agnihorti was in senior knowledge management roles at KPMG and EY. She has lived and worked in four countries across three continents, and speaks five languages, bringing a unique multicultural experience to her work.

Scott D. Bailey is the director of research at Eversheds Sutherland (US)LLP. There are five guiding values at Eversheds Sutherland, and Bailey is building a service that resonates with them.
