Dipanwita Amar

Recognized year after year in the Daily Journal's list of top employment lawyers in California, Dipanwita Deb Amar regularly represents clients in federal and state court in cases involving discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination (including whistleblower claims), wage and hour matters, workplace safety matters, and state law torts, through all stages of litigation, including appeal. She has also conducted investigations in a number of high-profile employment matters, including matters involving sexual harassment and related misconduct, whistleblower claims, discrimination based on race, gender, disability, age, and national origin and equal pay claims.

She also engages in counseling on day-to-day employment matters and handles traditional labor law matters, such as labor arbitrations and proceedings before the National Labor Relations Board. Ms. Amar's areas of particular focus are disability discrimination laws and federal and state leave statutes. In addition, she routinely advises clients in such areas as wage and hour issues, whistleblower claims, sexual harassment, race and age discrimination, non-competition agreements, mandatory agreements to arbitrate, severance agreements, reductions in force, and employment issues in mergers and acquisitions.

Danielle Shand is in-house Employment Counsel for Creative Artists Agency, the world’s leading entertainment agency, and its subsidiary, CAA Sports, named the world’s most valuable sports agency by Forbes for the past eight consecutive years.

In her role, Ms. Shand focuses on a range of employment related matters, including workplace investigations, compliance, policies and procedures, and trainings, including anti-harassment and discrimination and workplace investigations training. Ms. Shand also negotiates executive contracts for the top talent and sports agents in the industry and provides advice and counsel to the executive management team on day to day matters.

Ms. Shand graduated from Arizona State University with degrees in Political Science and History, and Loyola Law School with a J.D. Outside of her professional pursuits, Ms. Shand enjoys scuba diving, volunteering with animals, and adventuring around Los Angeles, where she resides with her husband and yellow lab, Tucker.

Jenna Yott is Associate General Counsel with Able Services, the largest family-owned building maintenance and facilities engineering company in the U.S. with more than 20,000 employees in 31 states. She counsels business leaders and human resources on all manner of legal issues involving employee and traditional labor relations as well as how to stay compliant with new and existing legislation. She also oversees employment and labor litigation matters, including class actions and agency investigations.

Jenna previously was a litigation associate with Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. She graduated from Drew University and received her law degree from University of California, Berkeley
