Nancy Collins

During her 20 years in the financial industry including NYC Cyber Command, Nancy has worked for fortune 100 companies such as Citigroup, Morgan Stanley, BNP Paribas and MUFG Securities supporting cyber security, regulatory compliance and enterprise risk management. She began her career at Citigroup developing portfolio applications for Financial Advisors to support Global Wealth Management. She later implemented enterprise Data Protection and IAM solutions and GRC Third Party Risk applications to meet regulatory requirements.

Nancy has participated in regulatory exams and managing cybersecurity assurance programs for global retail and investment banks, measuring their cyber resiliency and effectiveness against NIST 800-53, ISO 27001, CIS Critical Security Controls and leveraging MITRE Attack and NIST Cybersecurity Frameworks. In this capacity, Nancy led the Cybersecurity Assurance Program for Morgan Stanley running threat scenarios in coordination with Threat Hunt and Infrastructure teams and presenting to the Global CIO and CISO. Nancy holds a BS from Columbia University, with Masters coursework in Cybersecurity and was a Columbia University Masters Degree mentor for “Hacking 4 Defense,” sponsored by the Department of Defense.

Jennifer Knox is a Discovery Consultant at Consilio, a global leader in Legal Consulting & Legal Services.

Jennifer is a Director in the Consilio Consulting Group. Jennifer’s broad data analytics and eDiscovery industry experience includes technical product and service delivery, largely in the Financial Services space. In these roles, Jennifer worked closely with Legal, Records Management, and Information Security teams to drive Legal and Information Governance technology strategy, while protecting critical enterprise information.

In her current role, Jennifer works with Consilio’s enterprise clients on a variety of eDiscovery and data management issues including sensitive data analytics, document categorization, and Office365 cloud functionality. Jennifer frequently speaks on these topics to clients and at industry events.

Constance Mockaitis

Director of eDiscovery Operations

Constance Mockaitis is the Associate Director of eDiscovery Operations in the Legal Operations Department of AbbVie Inc. Constance is the primary liaison for eDiscovery issues across the enterprise and is also responsible for identifying and implementing process improvement and reengineering opportunities for the eDiscovery team. She facilitates the working relationship between Legal IT and members of the Legal Division in refining processes related to AbbVie’s Legal Hold Order Tracking System and AbbVie’s in-house enterprise wide ESI collection and preprocessing tools. Her hands-on approach to the development of workflows, mitigation of risk and the management of the processes at the execution level has allowed her to successfully manage, implement and govern information for a multinational corporation.

Constance also works on cross-functional teams that include members of Legal, Records Management, Privacy, Information Security, Corporate Policy and IT Technical Delivery Teams to craft Information Governance strategy and procedures. Constance promotes compliance with IG requirements (e.g. appropriate retention and defensible destruction, privacy and security) and helps formulate strategy and developing plans to increase the value and visibility of information across the organization.

John Koss

John’s practice focuses exclusively on counseling clients on e-discovery and large data matters including commercial litigation, investigations, and governmental inquiries.

Prior to rejoining the firm in 2016, John led the Boston office of one of the nation’s leading legal services firms, where he worked with in-house legal departments and law firms to create effective and economical legal solutions – incorporating flexible staffing, reliable workflows, and technology – in a wide variety of practice areas including litigation, compliance, employment, corporate transactions, and contracts management.

During his initial tenure at Mintz Levin, John was a founding member of the firm’s Electronic Discovery Practice Group. He was also an active member of the firm’s Product Liability and Complex Tort Litigation Practice Group. John maintained a diverse litigation and counseling practice with a particular focus on serving as a national trial, strategy, and discovery counsel for pharmaceutical clients involved in serial litigation. In this role, he also advised on information governance and the coordination of company-wide and multinational discovery efforts.

John also teaches legal writing at Suffolk University and taught for six years as a member of the faculty at Boston University School of Law’s First-Year Research and Writing Program.
