Sara Lockman

Sara has spent her entire career in the legal technology industry. Prior to joining Walmart, she worked as an eDiscovery subject matter expert, project manager, and consultant for both KPMG and EY. During that time, she managed litigation and investigation casework for Fortune 100 clients as well as advised on corporate eDiscovery program best practices. In her current role, she oversees a large team of eDiscovery professionals that support a global portfolio, provides direction on analytics-driven case workflows, and drives cross-discipline information governance initiatives.

In addition to her degrees in Management Information Systems and Criminal Justice from the University of Georgia, she holds several industry certifications including Certified Fraud Examiner, Project Management Professional, Information Governance Professional, Relativity Certified Administrator, and Brainspace Certified Analyst.

Christian J. Mahoney

Senior Attorney
Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP

As senior attorney, Christian leads the Discovery and Litigation Technology group in the Washington office. He advises clients on defensible data retention, preservation, collection, review and production processes for antitrust, securities enforcement and litigation matters. He also trains Cleary attorneys and co-counsel on discovery-related issues with a focus on both information governance and artificial intelligence, including predictive coding, and speaks externally on these issues.

In this role, Christian develops policies for clients on retention of data, negotiates discovery procedures and utilization of advanced technology with government regulators and opposing counsel, prepares clients for and defends 30(b)(6) depositions on data preservation and discovery issues, revises client collection processes, and implements sophisticated technology processes, including customized usage of predictive coding, for identification of data for review and production.

At Lighthouse, Rob counsels the world’s top corporations and law firms in eDiscovery and leveraging analytics, data science, and technology to extract critical insights from data. Rob’s expertise includes applying analytics and developing data-driven solutions to reduce risk in compliance and legal matters.

Rob’s education and professional experience combine data analytics and legal expertise. He received his M.S. in Business Analytics from New York University, where his research focused on applying text mining, metadata, and sentiment analysis to detect legal risk in unstructured data sources. He received his J.D. from Brigham Young University’s J. Reuben Clark Law School.

Rob previously practiced in the Antitrust and Trade Regulation group of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, where he counseled clients in connection with complex litigation and regulatory investigations from the Federal Trade Commission, Department of Justice, Securities and Exchange Commission, and other state and federal agencies.
