Join this session and hear from our speakers as they consider SEC and DOJ enforcement trends, as well as a keen focus onESG, cyber and digital assets. Our panelists will also explore the future of prosecution activities and penalties.

Environmental laws and the regulatory structures that enforce them have developed recently as we have collectively recognized that pollution and environmental contamination pose a threat to our health and safety. This session will focus on how environmental litigation plays an important role in keeping industries and businesses accountable to environmental laws and regulations. Panelists will provide information about current environmental laws, and also take a look at the role that environmental litigation plays in the development of new environmental laws as well as the enforcement of existing laws.

Given the massive amount of dollars being poured into ESG funds and the SEC’s renewed focus on both the funds and the companies in the funds, there is no time like the present for companies to engage in an assessment of their climate risks and how these risks and the status of the companies’ ESG goals are being relayed to investors.
