Angela Crawford is an experienced legal and compliance professional who has spent 24 years advising global companies in a number of sectors, including life sciences, healthcare, food and beverage, retail and apparel, software and technology, manufacturing and extractives, non-profit, and consulting.

She regularly conducts investigations for public and private entities based on allegations of compliance and regulatory violations, corruption, bribery, fraud, and employee and third-party misconduct, and advises clients on the development, implementation, and enhancement of ethics and compliance programs, policies, and training. Angela has led well over 100 investigations, compliance reviews, risk assessments, and trainings in over 20 countries around the world.

After serving as a partner for a decade at DLA Piper, one of the world’s largest law firms, Angela co-founded Crawford & Acharya in February 2020. A former federal prosecutor, Angela is admitted to practice in Florida and Illinois.

Lisa Shuchman is Executive Editor of Law.com International, overseeing the global content for ALM. She previously was senior international editor and before that, a senior reporter at Corporate Counsel. Prior to joining ALM, Lisa worked in Japan for The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times, and in the U.S. for the Associated Press, The Industry Standard, and regional newspapers

Daniel Lim serves as Chief of the E-Discovery Office at the Department of Justice, Civil Division. Mr. Lim supervises a team of subject matter experts who provide legal, strategic, and project management advice to Civil Division trial teams on the lifecycle of information governance and electronic discovery issues. Mr. Lim advises on the emerging law governing electronic discovery, best practices for working with novel data sources, and how to leverage sophisticated technologies to effectively comply with discovery obligations. He also advises federal agencies on the best practices for implementing defensible preservation policies and electronic discovery workflows.

Prior to joining the Civil Division, Mr. Lim served as Deputy Director and Senior Counsel at the E-Discovery Group of the New York City Law Department. Mr. Lim began his legal career in private practice, representing corporate and individual clients in False Claims Act cases and government investigations.

Mr. Lim is a graduate of Brooklyn Law School and holds a B.A. in Philosophy, Politics, and Law from Binghamton University, State University of New York.
