It's an overwhelming task to stay up-to-date on China's constantly changing legal landscape. But the China Law Blog is here to help.

Created in January, the China Law Blog serves as both an information hub on everything China and a marketing tool for its host firm Harris & Moure, a boutique international law firm.

“We started the blog to help clear up misconceptions regarding Chinese law and doing business in China,” says Dan Harris, a partner at the firm and co-creator of the blog. “It also serves to connect people doing business in China and to get our name out there in this field.”

The blog has a corporate focus, though not all postings are business-centric. One entry critiques an article titled “Protecting and Enforcing Your IP Rights in China,” providing a synopsis and analysis of the article. Another post gives similar treatment to a program on the Discovery Channel called “China Revealed,” which, although light on substance, depicted beautiful images of China's scenery, according to Harris.

The site is updated every day, including weekends, sometimes with multiple posts a day, and contains a lengthy list of links to other China-related blogs.
