“Organized by General Counsel for General Counsel …”
That's how we describe the annual InsideCounsel SuperConference. But what does it really mean to you? At InsideCounsel, we've been working hard to make it mean insight and best practices from leading in-house legal executives. For SuperConference 2008, to be held May 20-21 in Chicago, we're bringing together an impressive list of top attorneys from respected companies such as Nissan North America, 3M Co., General Electric, BP America, Coors Brewing and Aon. They and approximately 60 other speakers will address the critical issues that are impacting your work as an in-house attorney.
We've enlisted Tribune Co. Chairman & CEO Sam Zell to headline the event. Zell is a true mastermind of international mergers and acquisitions, and a colorful personality who is sure to entertain as well as inform.
We realize you are busy and can pick and choose from a variety of conferences throughout the year. But we think SuperConference is the one conference you can't afford to miss.
One busy GC–FMC Technology's Jeff Carr–says he makes time for SuperConference because few legal conferences truly speak to the needs of senior-level in-house counsel or provide the opportunity to network with peers. “I've always returned from every SuperConference with an action item that improves our legal team and the services it provides,” he says.
While SuperConference has been providing insights to top in-house legal executives since 2000, our magazine has been serving the in-house bar since 1991. Throughout the years, our editorial team has been dedicated to providing you with the strategic, intelligent and essential information you need.
InsideCounsel's new editor, Cathleen Flahardy, brings the knowledge and determination that's required to continue that tradition. Cathleen has rejoined the InsideCounsel family after a two-year absence working in the corporate world and acquiring her MBA. See Cathleen's article “Language Barriers,” which explores English-only rules in the workplace.
Please join me in welcoming Cathleen ([email protected]) back, and I look forward to seeing you May 20-21 at SuperConference in Chicago.
