A six-year-old case that went to the Supreme Court and then was returned to the 11th Circuit was finally resolved Monday. Mohawk Industries agreed to an $18 million settlement with current and former employees who claim their wages were depressed by the hiring of illegal workers. U.S. District Court Judge Harold Murphy of the Northern District of Georgia on Monday granted a motion to preliminarily approve the settlement.

In agreeing to the settlement, Mohawk did not admit to any wrongdoing in the case.
