Despite a law that recently passed in Nevada making it illegal to discriminate based on gender, events such as ladies' nights and other gender-specific promotions will still be legal. The law isn't specific on what promotions are legal, but some believe the law is so broadly written that they may include almost anything a business decides on.

The new law says, “It is not unlawful and it is not a ground for civil action for any place of public accommodation to offer differential pricing, discounted pricing or special offers based on sex to promote or market the place of public accommodation.”
