Brian Cadwallader was appointed assistant general counsel of Johnson Controls Inc. Previously, Cadwallader was group vice president and general counsel for the company's building efficiency business unit.
Stuart Rosen was promoted to senior vice president and general counsel for Broadcast Music Inc. (BMI). Previously, Rosen was vice president, legal at the performing rights organization.
Pictometry International Corp. appointed Richard Jacobs as its new general counsel. Jacobs primarily will deal with rights management and licensing of Pictometry's global image library, and he also will join the company's executive management team.
ChemImage Corp. hired Jessica Beckett-McWalter as general counsel and vice president of human resources. Formerly, Beckett-McWalter was an associate at Pepper Hamilton.
Nicolas J. Evanoff was appointed as senior vice president, general counsel and secretary for CAMAC Energy Inc. Evanoff formerly was senior vice president, general counsel and secretary for Frontera Resources Corp.
Dendreon Corp. appointed John E. Osborn executive vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary. Previously, Osborn was general counsel with US Oncology Inc. and Cephalon Inc.

The suit, accusing the defendant of selling knock-off Graco products, was filed Dec. 18 in New Jersey District Court by Rivkin Radler on behalf of Graco Inc. and Graco Minnesota. The suit, filed Dec. 11 in New York Southern District Court by Bleichmar Fonti & Auld, accuses the defendants of concealing the bank's 'pervasive' deficiencies in regards to its compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and the quality of its anti-money laundering controls. The court action, filed Nov. 25 in Michigan Eastern District Court by Hooper Hathaway PC on behalf of The Town Residences LLC, accuses Crown Castle of failing to transfer approximately $30,000 in utility payments from T-Mobile in breach of a roof-top lease and assignment agreement.
