NAMWOLF appoints David Askew as CEO and general counsel
After Jason Brown left the National Association of Minority and Women Owned Law Firms (NAMWOLF) on Aug. 3 to accept a position at MillerCoors, the organization has been looking for someone who could fill his shoes as chief executive officer and general counsel.

After Jason Brown left the National Association of Minority and Women Owned Law Firms (NAMWOLF) on Aug. 3 to accept a position at MillerCoors, the organization has been looking for someone who could fill his shoes as chief executive officer and general counsel. On Thursday, NAMWOLF announced it had found that person in David Askew.
Askew previously held the post of director of Edwards Wildman Palmer's pro bono program, and has also served as deputy chief of the Illinois Attorney General's Office Civil Rights Bureau, as a litigation associate at Edwards Wildman's predecessor Wildman, Harrold, Allen & Dixon and in the U.S. Navy Judge Advocate General's Corps.

J. Brugh Lower of Gibbons has entered an appearance for industrial equipment supplier Devco Corporation in a pending trademark infringement lawsuit. The suit, accusing the defendant of selling knock-off Graco products, was filed Dec. 18 in New Jersey District Court by Rivkin Radler on behalf of Graco Inc. and Graco Minnesota.
