Stephanie Martz has been named general counsel of the National Retail Federation, replacing Mallory Duncan, who announced his retirement last week.
Martz starts her new role in September as Duncan transitions away from the full-time position as the Washington D.C.-based trade group's top lawyer. Duncan, who joined the NRF in 1994, will remain with the association as a consultant.
“I'm really looking forward to joining NRF,” Martz said. “I think it's a really dynamic, interesting place.”
