Hui Chen, the U.S. Department of Justice's former compliance counsel, who left on June 23, has unleashed her feelings about the Trump administration and her job in a sort of “exit letter” linked to her Twitter account. She called it “Mission Matters.”

Where previously she tweeted vague references to the “tone at the top,” she now talked about wanting to restore “notions of integrity, decency, and intellect back into our government.” The item posted on June 25.

The item stated that she informed the DOJ on May 15 that she did not intend to renew her contract, which was set to expire in October. She cited the hypocrisy she felt “trying to hold companies to standards that our current administration is not living up to.”
