Lucy Fato Named AIG General Counsel

Lucy Fato has been named general counsel of American International Group Inc.
In an announcement Tuesday, the New York-based global insurance organization said Fato will oversee AIG's global legal, compliance, regulatory and government affairs function, effective Oct. 16.
“I had the privilege of working with Lucy at [Marsh & McLennan Cos. Inc.] and know firsthand that she is an incredibly accomplished executive and strategic partner,” said AIG president and chief executive Brian Duperreault, in the press release announcing Fato's hire.

J. Brugh Lower of Gibbons has entered an appearance for industrial equipment supplier Devco Corporation in a pending trademark infringement lawsuit. The suit, accusing the defendant of selling knock-off Graco products, was filed Dec. 18 in New Jersey District Court by Rivkin Radler on behalf of Graco Inc. and Graco Minnesota.
