Hover Energy, a growing wind power and technology company based in Carrollton, Texas, has named Kelly Cope as general counsel. Cope is a veteran in-house attorney.

Hover is a relatively young company, created in 2015 to provide technology allowing businesses and government agencies to install wind power generation onto already-built sites.

Albert McLelland, CEO of Hover, said in a statement when the hire was announced: "We are very pleased to have Kelly overseeing our contracts and legal matters. His experience in both the domestic and international energy markets is invaluable at a time when we are finalizing contracts that lay the foundation for our expansion."
