The secret to getting ahead in the world of in-house lawyers may be as simple as reaching out to a new business contact and grabbing a cup of coffee.

At least that’s according to a panel of legal department leaders who spoke at the Association of Corporate Counsel’s Corporate Counsel University in Philadelphia on Thursday, addressing attendees who are mostly in the first five years of their in-house careers.
